Vice Chancellor Prof L.K.Maheshwari visited the Goa Campus on the 19th of January, 2007. .The students gave a warm welcome to the Vice Chancellor. On the friday evening, he had an interactive talk on the flexible sytem of BITS Unversity. In his talk he also explained students what should be their view towards life. He explained how health and fitness is equally important as the academics are.
This was followed by an interacive session wtih both our director Prof. T. C. Goel and Prof. Maheshwari himself, in which they answered a round of questions from curious students. The next day, he had an interactive talk with Electronics and Electrical Group students and the Electronics and Instrumentation students,in which he updated them with the prospects and the developments in this field. He briefed students on the importance of understanding concepts and gain knowledge to give country good engineers and scientists (reseachers).

The Vice Chancellor also launched the esteemed BITS Embryo project initiated by the BITS Alumni Association (BITSAA International) followed by a talk session with Prof. Rahul Banerjee, Unit Chief of Software Devlopment and Education Technology Unit at the Pilani Campus. The EMBRYO launch was another success chapter in the history of BITS, Pilani - Goa Campus. His message to bitsians before he left, was to "be optimistic and never give pessimism a place in your life. Aim high, dream high and you will surely succeed."
