Corporate Relationship
The ‘corporate relations’ vertical of CDC primarily deals with initiating, maintaining and managing contacts with various companies, institutions and individuals; with the aim of better equipping the students to pursue their future. It exists to create, discover and offer opportunities. We strive to encourage the university-industry alliance as well as to get national and international recognition; thus establishing brand BITS-GOA.
Goals
- Initiating University-Industry Alliance programs to hone technological/industrial competency of students as well as keep them abreast of the latest technological developments.
- Inviting industrial research projects for faculty and students.
- Gathering regular industrial feedback about relevance and suitability of our curriculum according to the current industrial standards and take necessary steps to ensure sustainability.
- Maintaining contacts with companies that come to the campus for placement even after the placement season is over.
- Staying connected with the Bits-Goa alumni and explore further avenues and create more opportunities for internships and placements for the campus students.
- Working with other institutions for mutual benefit and publicity of the campus.
- Organizing workshops and guest lectures in various domains of human knowledge to benefit all discipline groups.
