Tycoons –2008
CDC in association with Career Launcher conducted Tycoons –2008 one of the biggest business events in India. Over 200 students from BITS, Pilani-Goa campus took part and 6 of them were selected for the second round.
Nishith Rastogi of BITS, Pilani-Goa campus emerged as the winner of this prestigious national level competition.
Schlumberger Workshop
Schlumberger is the leading oilfield services provider, trusted to deliver superior results and improved E&P performance for oil and gas companies around the world. CDC in association with this oil field giant organised session on career opportunities during Quark, our annual techfest.
Intel Workshop
Intel in collaboration with CDC launched Intel blue buddies program in Goa region. Intel representatives visited the campus and delivered talks on cutting edge technologies in electronics domain.
ISB Workshop
ISB in collaboration with CDC organized an MBA seeding session in the campus. One to one career counseling sessions were also held for the senior batches.
Satyam Webinars
CDC handles organization of webinars by Satyam which benefit the computer science and information systems discipline in the campus. It is one of the many form of the relations maintained on part of us.
Placement Talks
An interactive information dissemination session in which the batch recently placed in various companies discusses various aspects of career choices, job profiles and interview process. The placements talk for first semester of academic session 2008-2009 was held in two phases.
GRE session
We also conducted a session on tackling GRE taken by Prof. Meenakshi Raman for the benefit of prospective MS applicants.
