CSD has recently modified its structure to the current Project-based one. Earlier, the organisation used to follow a permanent member structure and a nucleus committee existed to take major decision and facilitate developmental work along with working on major projects.
 
   

The CSD consists of a team of students selected through inductions to contribute to the software development requirements of the Institute.

The following students used to work for the CSD for providing the various BITS Zone Network Services. The BITS Internet Website is also a member site of the BITS Zone Network.
