We are a premier Physics Group(Department) of India engaged in teaching and research in the frontier areas of Theoretical and Experimental High Energy Physics, Astrophysics,  Cosmology,  Condensed Matter Physics, Lasers and Quantum Optics, Nonlinear Dynamics, Nuclear Physics,  Quantum Computation and Statistical Physics.
