Events

 

  • The lecture series and workshops are conducted by senior students on various topics.
  • Intra Campus Events like CODEJAMS (online programming contests), quizzes and Sudoku contests are organized from time to time. Contests like CodeJam provide the programmers in the campus an opportunity to showcase their talent and also help students to know where they stand.
  •  There are regular interactive sessions between seniors and juniors students in which seniors provide their guidance to their juniors on issues like choices of PS1 and PS2 companies, preparations for entrance examinations to PG courses to name a few.
  • Professional Workshops: Industry experts from major IT companies are invited to the campus to conduct professional workshops on industry leading platforms and technologies. In recent past the campus hosted workshops in collaboration with SUN Microsystems (JUMPSTART), Microsoft, IBM (IBM -TGMC) and others.
  • Seminars and Talks: Regular guest lectures by distinguished alumni and industry leaders are organized in collaboration with BITS EMBRYO and BITSAA.
  • Fresher's Party and Farewell Party are also organized.
